The Team

Chris Griffiths - Client Service Director

An Economics and Econometrics graduate from York University, Chris has always been interested in the 'science of advertising' . After a spell in the marketing department of Smiths Industries, he 'cut his teeth' on Sun Alliance's Direct Marketing account before moving to Ogilvy & Mather London to work on Polaroid, Ford and Lever Brothers.

Later at Dewe Rogerson, Chris ran corporate campaigns for the Central Electricity Generating Board and British Steel. He was also responsible for high-profile international campaigns in support of mergers and acquisitions during the flurry of activity immediately following the deregulation of European financial markets in the late '80s and early '90s. His campaign to announce the formation of the ING Group ran in 13 different languages across 19 countries throughout the world.

Chris set up Crusader Advertising (now Agile Creative) in 2001. Outside marketing, his main interests are tennis and Formula 1.

Allan Willmott - Creative Director

Allan graduated with 1st Class Honours in Graphic Design at the Southampton Institute.  After 2 years 'learning his trade' in a printer's studio, he moved to Berkoff Design in London in 1996 to work as a designer on C&A, TU Fund Managers and the UK Sports Council. As well as being a dab hand on the MAC Allan is a talented illustrator having been Highly Commended by D&AD.

In 2000 he moved to the ACCO in-house design studio where he redesigned the whole packaging range for Nobo presentation equipment as well as producing packaging, photgraphy, point of sale and catalogues for Rexel, Kensington and Sasco brands.

Turning freelance in 2003 he eventually settled at Crusader where he has developed his web design and development skills to the point where he has technical ability rarely found in a 'creative'.

When not behind a MAC, Allan plays lead guitar in a Jazz band and is often to be seen at gigs around Rochester.
